Blue Beetle's friend Curt Calhoun is transformed into Prometheus by Mento. Under Dayton's control, Curt is forced to battle his friend and the Titans. When Changeling attacks, Prometheus grabs him, then disappears along with the other members of the Hybrid.
Gar Logan is brought before Mento. Gar tries to convince his stepfather that his helmet is driving him insane. The Titans and Blue Beetle track down Dayton's location and battle the Hybrid once again. They rescue Gar, but the Hybrid and Mento escape.
