Comments:
This issue is the first appearance of the post-Crisis Outsiders. Though their adventures appear to be a direct continuation from previous issues, the post-Crisis Outsiders are considered to be entirely independent from their Earth-1 counterparts.
Synopsis:
Carl Cramer, a private investigator hired by Roger Dumont, learns about Looker's former life as Emily Briggs. He attempts to blackmail Looker, but she orders him to destroy the files on her. Later at Halo's birthday party, Lia is arrested and told that Cramer was found murdered.
While Looker sits in jail, the other Outsiders track down three suspects which Dr. Jace has lifted from the police computer. Their search leads them to Belle Warren, John Rupert, and Phil Melton, all of which had grudges against Cramer. Further investigation reveals that Melton is the real murderer. With the discovery of new evidence, Looker is released from jail.
