Chap. 2: "The Conspiracy of the Green-Headed League"
Elasti-Girl is called Elasti-Woman in this story.
The Chief’s physical appearance, but not his true identity, is revealed to the public in this story.
Synopsis:
When a newspaper publisher’s revelation of the Chief’s true identity causes the Doom Patrol to suspect a traitor in their midst, the Chief "feeds" each member a different and false version of his origins, in order to unmask the culprit. Actually, the "leak" is due to a spy camera secretly planted on Elasti-Girl, but the public disclosure of the Chief as a supposed extraterrestrial serves to draw out of hiding a trio of actual alien agents bent on world takeover who seek the Chief as an ally. Through trickery, the Doom Patrol defeats the aliens and stops their invasion plans.
