Synopsis:
On his way back to Earth from a interplanetary mission, Green Lantern sees a planet in a location where it shouldn’t be. When he investigates, he sees a continent that resembles his own shape. As he approaches, yellow missiles are fired at him. Green Lantern is dazed and forced to land.

As he searches for the source of the missiles, the planet surface itself reaches out at him. He avoids the dangers and continues onward. Suddenly, Sinestro and a group of his former foes charge him. They are mysteriously replaced by an image of Pieface. Green Lantern uses his power beam on the image which causes it to dissipate.

In the wake of the dissipating illusion, a presence contacts GL via his power beam. The presence is the planet itself. It is sentient and lonely. It sensed GL passing by and lured him here to befriend him.

An earthquake rocks the planet. The planet is being affected by something within it’s core. GL digs his way to the core and discovers a mass of unstoppable fire. Green Lantern removes the mass and places it in orbit around the planet. With the mass removed, the quakes stop and the planet now has the moon for a companion.
