Synopsis:
Ronnie Raymond returns home after fissioning from Firestorm. Felicity helps him patch his wounds. Richard Dare then barges into their home with a warning that the Soviets have dispatched Stalnoivolk to find Ronnie. Before they can leave for safety, the Soviet Steelwolf bursts through a wall demanding that Firestorm surrender.
In Russia, Mikhail is questioned by the KGB. His niece Serafina asks her friends, the Soyuz, to help stage a rescue. When Mikhail refuses to answer the questions put to him, the Soliony throws his wife out a window.
In the meantime, the Firestorm consciousness has been pulled into the timestream by Rikkard Rynders, the Flying Dutchman of Time. Rynders was a revolutionary leader at Vandermeer University in the 1960s. He was able to astral project his consciousness back in time, but his experiments led to his apparent death. Rynders's mind is still surviving in the timestream, and he attempts to use Firestorm to restore his body.
