Comments:
This story is presented as Bonus Book #2, a program designed to showcase the work of promising newcomers.
Synopsis:
Doctor Light is being transferred to a correctional work farm in Ohio. He escapes from the prison bus and finds himself in the small town of Radiance, Pennsylvania. He steals clothes and equipment from the local stores and plants bombs around town. He then detonates one of the bombs and forces the town to submit to his rule.
Three young boys decide to do something about Light. Shawn Rogers discovers that their fathers fought crime as Little Boy Blue and the Blue Boys in the 1940s. The boys don the costumes of their dads. Timmy Simms then uses his knowledge of radios to build a jamming device.
The costumed boys confront Doctor Light. He attempts to detonate his explosives, but the detonators are jammed. The new Little Boy Blue and the Blue Boys then capture Doctor Light and send him back to prison.
