A nuclear missile silo is attacked by an army of plastic men who steal the missiles and take them into space. When Robotman sees the story in the newspapers he immediately recognizes them as the creations of Garguax. Using Negative Woman's government connections, Robotman and the junior members of the Doom Patrol stake out another missile base. When the plastic men attack, the Doom Patrol is unable to stop them. Another missile is stolen, forcing the heroes to wait for Garguax to make his next move.
