Synopsis:
The Phantom Stranger is held helpless at the Bronx Zoo by his old foe Tannarak, now an agent of the Lords of Chaos. After creating a giant cat demon, Tannarak takes the Stranger to a New York rooftop where he will be sacrificed. He also abducts Cassandra Craft along the way.
On the roof, the Phantom Stranger engages the cat creature in a fight. The demon propels them both off the roof to the streets below. Just when the Stranger seems to be gaining an advantage, Tannarak points out Cassandra, who is in peril. However, the Stranger deduces that the woman is really Tala in disguise.
