Synopsis:
Buddy Baker, the occasional super-hero known as Animal Man, decides that he wants to revive his career and become a full-time super-hero. He plans to eventually join the Justice League, but first he needs to start small. After putting his power of absorbing the special abilities of animals to some test runs, Buddy appears on a local television program. After his appearance, S.T.A.R. Labs request his help when one of their animal research labs is broken into. The lab was demolished by someone with super-strength as evidenced by the bent metal doors. Also many of the research subject primates have been fused together into a grotesque amalgamated creature.
