The Fear Machine, Part II
John has living with the Freedom Mob for at least a "week or so".
This story continues in part from Hellblazer #14 and continues in Hellblazer #16.
Synopsis:
John awakens one morning and sees Myra, a member of the Freedom Mob. When he approaches, she panics. Myra saw the newspaper reports which accuse Constantine of murder. John tries to calm her with words. When that fails he casts a minor spell. However, Myra realizes that he is messing with her head.
John then meets up with Mercury. They explore the area including a group of stones which have been fenced off. Mercury hops the fence, forcing John to save her from a security guard. She claims that the fences are blocking the power of the stones and the ley lines.
When they return to camp, Myra tricks John into drinking a poisonous psychedelic drug. He has a bad trip and witnesses a man smashing his head on the stones. When he begins to regain his senses, John is left with a feeling of fear. He returns to camp and finds the company of Marj.
Outside the camp, the police are preparing a raid.
