Synopsis:
The Atom visits a gorge where he once played as a child. Hawkman and Hawkwoman track him down, then the old friends exchange stories. The Atom travels with the Hawks to New Orleans where they are now living. They quickly discover that their home was ransacked and a trunk containing spare anti-gravity belts was stolen.
Tracing the radiation from the belts, the Hawks and the Atom find the thieves who broke into their home. They were hired by Ira Quimby, the criminal known as I.Q. who has set a trap for the Hawks. The Atom was an unexpected complication for Quimby. The Atom confronts the crook who tries to shoot the hero. The shot destroys Quimby's lab and releases the Hawks. Together, the Atom, Hawkman, and Hawkwoman finish making the capture of I.Q., breaking his nose in the process.
