Comments:
Oberon claims that the Justice League is currently in space after Mister Miracle was kidnapped. However, this can't be accurate since half the team stayed on Earth for a time, then went to Apokolips with Oberon.
This story does take place after Superman #24, as it makes reference to the resignation of Senator Forrest.
Synopsis:
The Atom rejects the offer from the CIA to join them as a special agent. He then reaches out to the Justice League. Most of the team is away, but he is unimpressed by Max Lord and Oberon. When the media pesters him again, Ray seeks out Ralph Dibny who has been a hero despite the public knowing his identity. The Atom helps Ralph stop a gang of rare bird smugglers.
Chronos has been monitoring the Atom's movements and sets a plan in motion.
