Synopsis:
After several drug dealers are found murdered, Checkmate investigates. Knight John Reed follows another dealer named Waters back to his supplier, an intelligence agent. The supplier tries to have Waters killed. Reed tries to apprehend them, but he is attacked by a group of drug addicted thugs. The designer drug supplied by the agent has turned them into mind-controlled zombies. Reed is barely able to stop them before his backup arrives. When he returns home, Reed receives a plea for help on his answering machine from Black Thorn.
