Synopsis:
The Black Orchid seeks out Alec Holland in the swamps of Louisiana. She meets the Swamp Thing who helps her sort through her memories. She then departs to find Suzy. Swamp Thing also give her a handful of seeds that will grow into her babies.
Using information imparted to her by the Swamp Thing, the Black Orchid quickly locates Suzy and liberates her from Luthor's people. The two plant women then head south to the rainforest of Brazil. Luthor sends a team to find them headed by Mr. Sterling, the man responsible for the original Black Orchid's death.
After weeks of searching a hunter locates the two women. The retrieval team then leads into the jungle. Unknown to them, they are followed by Carl Thorne who wants revenge on the men for trying to kill him. He also wants to kill the Black Orchid. Carl picks off several of the hunters, but is ultimately killed once the women are found. When the Black Orchid refuses to return with the men, Sterling orders them killed. However, his men refuse the order. They are forced to return to Luthor empty-handed.
The Black Orchid and Suzy then depart from the rainforest. The seeds given to her have been planted there and are left in the care of the natives.
