This story takes place on June 11, 1942.
This story is continued from Young All-Stars #23 and continues in Young All-Stars #25.
Synopsis:
The Young All-Stars split up following FDR's secret orders to protect America's scientific brain trust. Iron Munro and the Russian girl Fireball head to New York to protect Albert Einstein. Arn has a vision in which Gudra the Valkyrie carries away Tigress, following her death. Gudra and Ubermensch have reached Einstein first. Arn is knocked out and captured by Unbermensch. Gudra then defeats Fireball. The Nazis then carry away Arn and the captured scientists.
Elsewhere in St. Louis, Fury and Phantasmo have been dispatched to guard a supply of uranium. They are met by Baron Blitzkrieg and Sumo, the Samurai. Sumo drives his sword through Phantasmo, while the Baron makes off with the uranium. Fury is unable to stop him. Fortunately Phantasmo's power allows him to survive being impaled by Sumo's sword, but the heroes fail in their mission.
