Atom and Evil Part 5
This story takes place on June 11, 1942.
This story is continued from Young All-Stars #24.
Synopsis:
The Atom monitors the mission boards at All-Star Squadron headquarters after the Young All-Star fail to protect the American scientists. Fireball makes her way to the Perisphere to tell the Atom that Iron Munro was captured. Atom uses Arn's tracking device to locate him. The Squire calls in from Chicago to report the death of Tigress and the capture of Dyna-Mite. The Atom uses Dan's tracker to triangulate the locate of the Nazi base in Kansas.
The Atom, Fury, Flying Fox, Kuei, Fireball, and the Squire then join forces to assault the Nazis. Inside the base, Ubermensch is ordered to kill Arn while Dyna-Mite watches the scientists strapped to a machine which will detonate a uranium bomb planted in Kansas City. While the heroes outside battle Axis Amerika and the Baron, Phantasmo slips inside and releases Dyna-Mite. Together they rescue the scientists.
Meanwhile Ubermensch taunts Arn with a recent picture of his father in Brazil. Ubermensch claims that Danner is also responsible for his creation. Arn and Ubermensch fight, and Arn wins. He spares the Nazi when Gudra offers to restore the Tigress to life.
Outside, the Nazis flee the scene. The All-Stars are unable to pursue, but the bomb threatening to destroy Kansas City is defused.
