Synopsis:
Slam and Shorty are hired by the editors of rival newspapers to find evidence against a phony fortune teller Chandra Chun. Even after exposing a fake ghost at one of Chun's seances, Slam and Shorty are thrown out of the temple by the psychic's customers. The next day, they visit banker T.J. Martin, who admits that Chun is blackmailing him using a phony confession to a crime that Martin did not commit. Slam then returns to the temple, gags and binds Chun, and replaces him at the next seance. Slam and Shorty then trick Chun's boss into confessing to the blackmail scheme. The boss is Lang, one of the newspaper men that hired Slam in the first place.
