Comments:
This story continues in Green Arrow #30.

This story is loosely based on the Exxon Valdez oil spill which occurred in Prince William Sound in March of 1989.

Synopsis:
Following a horrific oil spill off the coast of Alaska, Argon Oil is the target of public outrage. Seeking to minimize its exposure, Argon sends the tanker captain to hide in a remote fishing cabin. A manhunt begins when the FBI issues a warrant for Captain Springsteen. Green Arrow joins the hunt. He learns of the fishing cabin and goes there to confront Springsteen.
