Synopsis:
Green Arrow and Speedy are summoned to assist in the recapture of three escaped prisoners. The prisoners escape from the archers using super powers and steal a meteor from a museum. Green Arrow suspects the crooks are alien, so he calls the Martian Manhunter for assistance.
The two heroes find the crooks again, however they are soundly defeated. J’onn is bested by a group of martians with powers identical to his own, and Green Arrow is brought down by the alien leader Vulkor in a flying capsule.
Following the defeat, J’onn travels to Mars to learn more about his opponents, while Green Arrow battles them again. Green Arrow is captured, then released with a subliminal command to work against the Martian Manhunter.
When Vulkor strikes again Green Arrow interferes, preventing J’onn from making the capture. To prevent the archer from further complicating things, J’onn disguises himself as Green Arrow. He is then able to get close enough to defeat his opponent. Green Arrow and Speedy then handle Vulkor’s henchmen using fireworks arrows. J’onn then takes his prisoners back to Mars for confinement.
