Synopsis:
The Challengers see several giant disembark from an alien craft. The aliens attack and Prof is injured. Another alien, S’Ntaga arrives to chase away the giants. He is the hero of his world, Krandan. He places Prof in a healing chamber and then helps the Challs confront the giants, who are attacking a nearby town.

Once the villagers have escaped, the Challs and S’Ntaga return to the alien craft, which is surrounded by a forcefield. Prof has healed and in the process gained super-strength. Prof is able to penetrate the shield, which allows S’Ntaga to place an explosive on the alien ship. It explodes, ridding the universe of the invaders.
