This story is continued in part from Justice League #3.

Synopsis:
While Booster Gold, Doctor Light, and Max Lord wait in the next room, the Justice League discuss their security breach and an appropriate course of action. Before the meeting is complete, Doctor Light storms out. Booster feeling unwanted, leaves also. Max is left alone to answer Batman's questions.

On his way out, Booster notices a swarm of reporters waiting outside. As he approaches them, the security fence is shorted out. The Royal Flush Gang then enters. Booster battles the gang while the Justice League watches. He defeats them, earning the praise of the onlookers.

Ace then attacks which requires the involvement of the entire League. Ace is equipped with weapons to defeat each League member. Booster and Blue Beetle devise a strategy to defeat him by destroying his robot body with the base's defense shield. Booster is then awarded membership into the League. Max then meets with the reporters by appointing himself press liaison.
