Synopsis:
Dr. Weerd strikes again with an invention that transforms all precious metal into ordinary ones. The Star-Spangled Kid and Stripesy trace the radiation back to Weerd's hide-out and destroy the device.

Weerd then attacks in a giant flying buzz-saw. He uses the weapon to destroy bridges and cause destruction. The Star-Spangled Kid boards the buzz-saw and forces Weerd to surrender the controls. Weerd jumps out, but not before locking the controls. The Star-Spangled Kid is then barely able to avert a disaster as the buzz-saw nearly strikes a munitions plant.

Dr. Weerd escapes, but his weapons are defeated.
