Synopsis:
A series of tenement fires provokes Barton, publisher of the Daily Tattle, to ask the city to buy the properties and upgrade them. Barton is in league with the property owner, Murker, and is responsible for the fires. They try to eliminate those people with evidence against them, but Green Lantern saves the men. He then brings them together and gets Barton to confess. The city buys the property anyway, but the crooks are sent to prison.
