Comments:
This story originally was not titled; the title shown here was given on the contents page of Wonder Woman Archives Vol. 2 in which this story is reprinted.
The final two pages of this story are an advertisement promoting the purchase of war bonds and stamps. Wonder Woman appears with Steve Trevor, Etta Candy, and Colonel Darnell.
Synopsis:
Steve Trevor is taken prisoner by the war god Mars. Wonder Woman infiltrates the planet Mars as a slave girl and rescues Trevor. Mars is angered and sends his three generals to Earth to retrieve Wonder Woman and Trevor.
The Earl of Greed is the first to attempt capturing Wonder Woman. He manipulates Hitler and the Nazis as well as a baseball team owner, but Wonder Woman defeats him and forces him to return emptyhanded.
The Duke of Deception works with the Japanese to capture his foe. Wonder Woman is caught temporarily by Naha, one of the Duke’s agents, but she escapes and humiliates Deception.
The final attempt to capture Wonder Woman is made by the Count of Conquest. He utilizes a handsome Italian man to trick the Amazon and capture her. They chain her bracelets together, leaving her weak, then bring her back to Mars. Wonder Woman summons Etta Candy to help her snap the chains, then she defeats Mars and his men.
