Synopsis:
Batman opens his own private detective agency, claiming he needs money to finance Robin's college education. Batman takes on several cases while continuing to aid police as part of his regular duties.

Batman is hired to protect businessman Jim Morley after Morley receives death threats. Batman demands additional money after someone takes a shot at him. When Morley retrieves the cash, Batman follows him and admits his need for money was a hoax. Morley is really a bank robber, which Batman suspected. Batman tricked the crook in order to find the evidence of Morley's crimes. After Morley is apprehended, Batman returns to his role as a full-time police agent.
