Synopsis:
Superman encounters a crook with super-powers resembling his own. When the Man of Steel tries to stop the man, he is felled by a box covered in Kryptonite. The man then explains that he is Elton Craig, a Earthman who found a box of pills from Krypton. The pills were designed by Jor-El to give Kryptonians super- powers in case they failed on Earth.
Superman is left for dead by Craig, but he frees himself. His powers return slowly from the Kryptonian poisoning, so he takes a pill. The Kryptonite dust from the box has contaminated it though, and it completely removes his powers. Powerless, he contacts Batman and Robin for assistance.
The Dynamic Duo take pills and chase after Craig with powers of their own. They are not used to using them and are not able to stop the crook. Superman however has deduced the location of Craig’s hideout. When he arrives, Craig tries to kill him with a gun. Only his indestructible costume saves Superman’s life. Criag’s power eventually fade allowing Batman and Robin to capture him before their powers wear off too.
