Synopsis:
Mild mannered Harold Smithers dreams of being famous like Robotman, so he constructs a Robotman costume. Smithers then walks the streets in costume and signs autographs for kids. Crook Silky Martin sees Smithers and captures him, believing that he is the real Robotman.

When Paul Dennis learns about Robotman's capture, he investigates. The real Robotman tracks down Silky and rescues Smithers. Then with a little help from Smithers, Robotman apprehends Silky. Smithers then receives his own fame.
