Comments:
The name on the mailbox outside Bonnie's home reads Denton, but her last name and that of her parents is given as Blake in the first story of Mystery in Space #106.

Synopsis:
Ultra returns to his own solar system and visits his old girlfriend, Bonnie Denton. He is afraid to reveal himself to Bonnie who believes Ace Arn has died. Ultra then receives word of a crimson mist on Mars. He leaves Earth to combat the menace.

On Mars, Ultra enters the cloud of crimson mist. The mist allows criminals to control the population enveloped by it. Ultra analyzes the mist and defeats the crooks. They tell Ultra that Dr. Taxo created the mist.

Dr. Taxo next strikes in Bonnie's hometown on Earth. Anticipating Ultra's interference he alters the mist to weaken Ultra. His plan succeeds in weakening his foe. Taxo and his men then hunt Ultra, who delays them long enough to regain his power. Ultra then captures Taxo and dissipates the mind-controlling mist.
