Synopsis:
When notorious crime leader Boss Swagg learns that his own men plan to kill him for double-crossing them, he tries to leave town. On the way, he meets his look-a-like Tubby Watts and exchanges identities. Swagg takes over as Johnny's assistant, while he sends Tubby into a trap set by his men.

Johnny saves the mayor from an assassin. While performing the rescue, he realizes that Tubby is behaving oddly. He decides to let the assassin escape, so that he can follow him. The trail leads to the real Tubby, who is about to be murdered. Johnny rescues his pal and apprehends the crooks. Finally, he takes Swagg to prison too.
