Synopsis:
Several valuable wild animals disappear from their owners. Superboy then discovers that Professor Lang has constructed robots of similar animals with realistic animal hides. Superboy begins to suspect Lang has stolen the animals to use their hides for the robots.

When the robot gorilla goes out of control, Superboy is forced to save Lang and reveal his secret identity. Superboy believes his secret has been exposed, until he learns that the Lang he rescued was only a robot as well. With his secret safe, Superboy discovers the real animal thief Hector Hobson.
