Synopsis:
While Kal-El was still a small child living on Krypton, his family lived next door to Dev-Em, a juvenile delinquent. Dev-Em frequently stole inventions from scientists to convince his family he was intelligent. However, most of the time, he and his friends got in trouble with the law.
When Dev-Em stole some notes from Jor-El’s lab, he learned about Krypton’s destruction. To save himself from death, Dev-Em constructed a small lead dome which protected him and his family in suspended animation. When Krypton exploded, the dome was sent into space, where it eventually reached Earth. Dev-Em learns Kal-El has grown to become Superboy and decides to plot against his former neighbor.
