Synopsis:
Jor-El is awarded a science prize for inventing a dimensional viewer. When Krypton explodes, the metal from the award becomes Green Kryptonite and lands on Earth. Beppo briefly discovers the Kryptonite in Africa. He is temporarily weakened by it.
Later a geologist finds the stone and brings it to America. When the plane the Kryptonite is aboard crashes, the stone lands outside Smallville where a farmer discovers it. Young Clark Kent is briefly affected by it.
The stone is then lands in the possession of Professor Lang. Lana uses it in her rock garden. When Superboy tries to stop a burglar, the Kryptonite affects him. Krypto rescues him. Superboy then takes the stone to his friend Lex Luthor.
Luthor experiments on it in order to find a Kryptonite antidote. Superboy puts out a fire in the lab. When the Kryptonite doesn't affect him, he believes it is imitation Green K. The effects were actaully neutralized by an invention of Luthor. Neither Superboy or Luthor realized the machine's effect. Superboy hurls the Green K into the arctic. Separated from the neutralizer, the Green K becomes deadly again, but is now far removed from civilization.
