Synopsis:
During a magic show performed by Zazar the Great, he asks for volunteers from the audience. A man steps forward and disappears in Zazar's magic cabinet. The man is Torch Marrow, a notorious bank bandit. When Zazar is unable to bring Marrow back, his reputation is ruined.

Superboy offers to help Zazar and to find Marrow. At the next performance, Clark Kent acts as Zazar's assistant. Using his powers Clark makes Zazar appear to be a powerful magician. Marrow's men are in the audience and phone their boss when Zazar claims that he will bring back the gangster. Superboy traces the call and brings Marrow back to the stage. The gangster is apprehended, and Zazar's reputation is better than ever.
