Synopsis:
Nels Farrow steals some magical paint found on an archaeological dig for Atlantis. Using the magic paint Farrow creates six paintings that will come to life in moonlight and destroy his enemies. After creating the paintings, Farrow repents and tells the JSA what he has done.

The JSA splits up to locate the paintings and stop six murders. Hawkman protects archaeologist Hank Kavanaugh; Green Lantern helps big game hunter Elbert Jenkins; Dr. Mid-Nite stops the magical paintings in Greg Scallop's gold mine; Despite being labeled crazy Johnny Thunder tries to protect Captain Ira Haggard; Atom helps Black Jack Cassidy at his oil well; and Flash stops the last of the magic paintings at Josh Mason's circus.

Since the paint is indestructible, the JSA scrapes the paint from the canvas of each painting. They place the paint into jars which Green Lantern seals. Wonder Wonder then writes a warning to be placed with the jars. When the jars are uncovered in the future, the warning prevents them from being reopened.
