Synopsis:
Wilbur Wolfingham heads west after running a fraudulent investment company in Metropolis. He convinces several ranchers to sell him their property, then convinces them their is gold on the land. He offers to sell the land back to them at high prices.
News of the gold strike brings Lois and Clark from Metropolis to report the story for the Daily Planet. When they see Wolfingham, they know its a swindle. Superman forces Wolfingham to use his profits to pay off the investors he cheated in Metropolis. Then he locates a large silver deposit on the ranchers' land, so that they become rich. Wolfingham is left with nothing to show for his attempted con.
