Under the advice of publicist Sharpie Jackson, actress Gloria Allure embarks on a tour to entertain the troops. She receives praise from reporters including Clark Kent, but after she arrives in the field her attitude is that of a spoiled brat. War correspondent Tony Trent writes a scathing review of her performance just before Gloria cuts the tour short.
Superman learns about the actress's behavior and decides to intervene. He intercepts her plane and scares her into performing again on an island in the Pacific. Gloria is inspired and puts on a good show. Then the Japanese attack. Superman helps to defeat the attackers. After the fighting is over Gloria elects to remain and provide entertainment for the troops despite offers for contracts back home.
