Synopsis:
The Joker begins a series of crimes in which his robbery victims refuse to press charges because they found his crime funny. Suspicious, Batman sets up Bruce Wayne as the next victim. As expected the Joker calls Wayne and tells him to laugh. In return Joker promises to return twice what he stole. Bruce complies which puzzles Dick Grayson.

Dick becomes Robin and attempts to follow the Joker, but he is captured. Batman rescues him, then explains that the Joker was running a blackmail scheme on other thieves. He pretended that Bruce was an art thief, so that the Joker would target him. Once Batman and Robin escape the Joker's death trap, they apprehend the crook.
