Synopsis:
The Justice League returns to their headquarters after a terrible defeat at the hands of Brimstone. With the President ordering super-heroes to withdraw from public life, J'onn J'onzz officially disbands the JLA. The members go their separate ways.

Vibe goes to the South Bronx where he is attacked by one of Professor Ivo's robots. Vibe thinks the robot has been destroyed after a fight, but when he approaches it, the damaged robot renews its attack. Vibe is strangled to death in the street. The robot walks away, leaving Vibe's face covered by an Ivo mask.
