The Man of Steel is able to acquire many rare autographs, but Alexander's tactics are allowing him to pull ahead. Superman then travels back in time to get the autographs of George Washington, Abe Lincoln, and others. When he returns he discovers that Alexander's bodyguards are using the signatures to forge checks. Lois Lane is able to clear Alexander of any involvment, but the experience changes the rich boy. He gets Superman's autograph and turns it in for Johnny, breaking the tie between them. Johnny then wins the contest.
