Synopsis:
While Ronnie tries to apologize to Doreen Day, he spots Cliff Carmichael attempting to jump off the roof of a building. Ronnie is forced to become Firestorm in front of Doreen in order to save Cliff. After Cliff is taken to the police station, Ronnie tracks down Doreen, who is angry that Ronnie has been lying about his double identity.
Ronnie and Doreen then visit the police station. Cliff confesses to cutting the chin strap of a football helmet which resulted in his cousin Hugo becoming paralyzed. He admits that Ronnie was actually the intended target. The police decide to have Cliff put in psychiatric care.
