The history of Typhoon is depicted in flashback in this story.
Synopsis:
Typhoon comes to Pittsburgh seeking revenge against Firestorm and Martin Stein. He has been training himself to use his powers to form a hurricane. The city is ravaged by Typhoon. Firestorm does his best to minimize the damage, then takes the offensive. Using his powers, he is able to manipulate temperature and pressure conditions to slow down and eventually dissipate the hurricane. Typhoon reverts to human form, and Firestorm captures him.
After the villain is turned over to police, Chief Ferguson blames Firestorm for the damage to the city. Despite his own exhaustion from the battle, Firestorm uses his powers to repair much of the damage. Eventually he is forced to return home and revert back into Ronnie and the Professor. Stein then faints.
