Synopsis:
Ronnie brings an exhausted Professor Stein to his father's apartment. They then tell Ed that they are Firestorm. Firehawk shows up looking for Ronnie, who decides to continue his efforts to disarm the nuclear powers. Firehawk warns him that a secret government agency has been dispatched to fight him, and the Soviets are sending someone too.
Firestorm holds a press conference in Times Square. He explains that he will continue his mission of disarmament. The Suicide Squad arrives and attacks him. Firehawk is in the crowd and helps to fight them. When it looks like the Squad is prevailing, the Justice League joins the fray.
Back in Pittsburgh, Doreen Day goes to the police to tell them Firestorm's secret identity.
