Synopsis:
Keith Kenyon escapes from prison and improves upon his golden aura of invulnerability. He takes the name Goldface, then issues a challenge to Green Lantern. When Goldface strikes at a museum, Green Lantern is there to battle his gang. However, Goldface is prevented from participating in the fight when a stone wall collapses on him. Green Lantern wins the fight against the gang, but doesn't know Goldface is trapped nearby.
After freeing himself from the museum, Goldface strikes again at a gold mine. This time when Green Lantern arrives, Goldface uses a spray on him that changes GL into solid gold. Kenyon then brings the Emerald Crusader back to his hideout.
Green Lantern used a trick to make Goldface believe he was changed to gold by surrounding his body with compressed air. He breaks free and uses Goldface's own aura against him. He removes Goldface's helmet, the turns the crook into gold. Kenyon is then taken to prison and placed in a solid gold cell.
