Synopsis:
While recovering from the injuries he sustained during his battle with Major Force, Nathaniel Adam begins selling personal items to pay his rent. He still has not found a job since he was blacklisted by General Eiling. Jeff Goslin and his daughter Margaret pay him a visit, but before he can see them, Nathaniel receives an emergency signal from the Justice League.

Captain Atom flies to Louisiana where several members of the Justice League are battling a living hurricane that was once their teammate, Red Tornado. The other members have limited power levels, so it is up to Atom to stop the insane elemental from threatening millions. Using the quantum force, Captain Atom is able to redirect the path of the hurricane away from heavily populated areas toward the swamps where the Swamp Thing resides.
