Comments:
This is a Seven Soldiers of Victory story.
Pages 1-19 of this story retell the events from Leading Comics #4. Pages 20-24, subtitled Interlude 3: "Shanghaied into Hyperspace", adapt the Dr. Mid-Nite chapter from All-Star Comics #13.
Synopsis:
The Seven Soldiers of Victory track down some thieves with enhanced senses who are stealing gems. The gems are used by a villain known as the Sense-Master to create a lifestone with special powers. The Soldiers defeat the Sense-Master when he accidentally is turned to stone by the lifestone.
Meanwhile, Dr. Mid-Nite arrives on an alternate-dimension version of Neptune. Using his medical science, he is able to cure the inhabitants of harmful diseases. Afterwards, they give him a set of books containing advanced knowledge, and he returns to Earth.
