Synopsis:
While visiting a museum with several artifacts from the Revolutionary war, Superboy finds his indestructible cape inside a drum. The Boy of Steel flies back in time to determine how the cape got there. He meets General George Washington and helps him cross the Delaware River. Superboy then assists the Americans defeat the British in several battles. To inspire the troops, Superboy uses his cape as a makeshift flag. The flag is hidden inside a drum, until it is ready to be used. After the British surrender, the flag is placed back inside the drum where it remains until Superboy retrieves it in the future.
