Synopsis:
While visiting Washington DC, the Kents see a colonial newspaper clipping which relates the story of a Kent family dying. The family is eerily similar to their own, so Superboy takes them back in time to investigate.
Due to a cosmic storm, history appears jumbled to the time-travelers. They witness the signing of the Declaration of Independence, the cracking of the Liberty Bell, and Paul Revere’s famous ride. Superboy assists to ensure that the events all occur as they were recorded in history.
However Benjamin Franklin suspects the Kents are British spies. They attend the Boston Tea Party and are apparently killed. This prompts Franklin to publish the story of their death. The Kents then return to the present with an explanation for the newspaper clipping.
