This story is continued from New Titans #52 and continues in New Titans #54.

Synopsis:
Raven manages to transport Starfire off the doomed travelsphere and back to New Chronus. However, Nightwing, Cyborg, Jericho, and the Titan seed Athyns are presumed dead. The Titans have indeed survived. They crashed on Sparta's homeworld of Synriannaq and are now hunted. Jericho has taken control of Athyns in order to mask his presence as a Titan seed. Cyborg is spotted and captured by the enemy forces.

Meanwhile, on New Chronus, the remaining Titans want to mount a rescue mission for their friends. The Titans of Myth warn that if Sparta is able to kill all the remaining Titan seeds, then she will become unstoppable. Both Wonder Girl and Xanthi want to go, but one must remain behind.

Changeling goes to Synriannaq first to locate the others. Once he finds them, Raven brings Starfire and Xanthi. Wonder Girl remains on New Chronus. During the fight with Sparta and her people, Xanthi is able to restore Athyns's memories. The Titan seed then joins the fight. Sparta tries to kill Athyns, but Xanthi steps in front of the blast and is killed.
