"Who is Wonder Girl? Chapter Five"
This story is continued from New Titans #53 and continues in part in New Titans #55.
Synopsis:
Following the death of Xanthi, the Titans retreat to New Chronus. The Titans of Myth believe their chances of survival are gone because it requires three Titan seeds to restore them. Wonder Girl and Athyns are the only two that remain. They are then reminded that Sparta is also a Titan seed.
Nightwing formulates a plan to using the remaining players available. Cyborg and Jericho are injured and cannot fight. He is also in bad shape. Raven takes Athyns and Wonder Girl inside her. Starfire and Changeling are then left to fight Sparta. They succeed in distracting the mad seed long enough for Raven to take Sparta into her soul self.
Wonder Girl and Athyns try to calm Sparta, but a fight ensues. Sparta takes the upper hand, but the other two Titan seeds regroup and lock arms with Sparta. Raven then brings them closer to New Chronus where the power of the trinity is released. The power revitalizes the remaining Titans of Myth and frees them from Zeus's curse.
In the aftermath, Sparta is left mindless in the care of the Titans. Athyns is invited to join the Titans. The gods promise a gift to Wonder Girl upon her return to Earth.
