Synopsis:
Professor Zackro receives a distress signal from an old friend that tried to reach Mars 15 years ago. Captain Comet and Zackro board the Cometeer and trace the signal to the moon known as Thule. They discover the wreckage of Dr. Harkovy's ship and a teenage girl. Captain Comet rescues the girl from some flying creatures, then takes her back to the royal palace.

The girl is Doriana, the adopted daughter of King Afthors. Zackro recognizes a resemblance in the girl to Joan Harkovy. Afthors soon explains that the Harkovy's crashed on Thule years ago and died, but their infant daughter survived, so the king raised her. After Captain Comet stops an insurrection by the flying creatures, he takes Doriana and Zackro back to Earth.
